Bangalore: The second edition of the Contours Women's Day Run, an event aimed at "empowering the Indian woman", will be held on March 13 at the Clarks Exotica hotel at Devanahalli.

The event will raise funds for Parikrama Foundation and Asha, not-for-profit organisations, towards "educating the girl child". The run, open to both women and men, will be held in 5-km and 10-km distance categories. A registration fee of Rs. 500 will be charged, of which Rs. 200 will be contributed to the charities.
